Get Involved

Missionaries all over the world are in need of support. It not only takes committed missionaries on the field to make a mission successful, but it also takes commitment, involvement, support and encouragement from Christians who are not on the field. One person’s ability or calling to be involved may vary widely from the next person, but this is what makes the Body of Christ.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:27

Child Sponsorship - You can help provide an education for the children of Haiti. For more information, click here.

Sewing & Cooking Programs - This ministry allows women to be more qualified to get jobs, bringing in much needed income to their families.

Well Drilling - This has been a very effective way to get our Haitian workers involved in spreading the gospel and the love of Christ in Haiti. It costs $7500 to drill and complete a well.  Click here for more information or to donate.

Teams

Global Outreach Haiti Mission welcomes short-term teams to come and experience ministering in Haiti. Global Outreach Haiti Mission welcomes all different kinds of short term teams such as vacation Bible school teams, medical teams, work teams and evangelistic teams.

Teams generally stay one week and help Global Outreach Haiti’s staff missionaries with the various ministries they have. Coming to Haiti as a team member or leader is a great opportunity to serve the people of Haiti and the missionary staff in Haiti.

Teams stay in the Volunteer Quarters where all their meals will be eaten and their laundry will be done. The VQ has four bedrooms downstairs that sleep 20 people, along with a kitchen and two apartments upstairs. Each bedroom is equipped with its own bathroom.  Global Outreach Haiti compound is also equipped with an in-ground pool that is available for teams to use during their stay.

Team Activities

Although team activities may vary according to their desired focus, (i.e., medical teams), many teams choose to perform any work that needs to be done at the time of their visit.  These activities can include building a roof on the house of a local church member, assisting with well drilling activity, performing vehicle/equipment maintenance, taking height/weight measurements of the sponsored school children, assisting in the burn clinic, and much more.
